WhiteBeard develops first Arabic Amazon Alexa skill for Fatafeat, Discovery Inc.

Fatafeat, Discovery Inc.’s Arabic food network in the Middle East, has announced its integration as a skill and first-party food provider on the recently launched Arabic version of Alexa, Amazon’s intelligent virtual assistant.

WhiteBeard had the privilege of developing this skill from concept to implementation. Powered by WhiteBeard News Suite (CMS), Fatafeat is able to deliver content via an Alexa skill with no additional editorial effort. A real-time integration allows surfacing new content on various platforms including web, app, wearables, and now Alexa virtual assistant.

Using Alexa’s Fatafeat skill, users can find their favorite Fatafeat recipes by asking Alexa for instructions in various Arabic dialects.
